2024-25 Team Picture
Bloomington Nordic Ski Team is a competitive team for high-school and middle-school cross-country skiers based in Bloomington Minnesota. We draw athletes from Jefferson and Kennedy High Schools to instill a love of cross country skiing in a competitive and rewarding environment.

Its that time of year and time to celebrate the season! Registration online is closed however you can still pay at the door.
Mesabi Meet
The team recently participated in the Mesabi East tournament up at Giants Ridge in Biwabic, MN.
The boys team finished 11th overall and the girls finished 23rd overall.
Avery Rich finished 8th overall in the Girls Skate.
Conor Sweeney placed 20th overall in Boys Classic
Sections Meet
The team recently participated in the Section 2 Championship Feb 6 at Theodore Wirth.
The girls team finished 5th overall and the boys narrowly missed 2nd place finishing 3rd overall.
Congrats to our skiers who will continue on to State next week as individuals!

AJ Westanmo placed 1st overall in Boys Pursuit!
Bloomington at State
At the state Nordic championships on January 13, Bloomington's Avery Rich and AJ Westanmo both performed strongly, securing podium finishes.
AJ Westanmo finished second overall in the boys' pursuit with a time of 28:49.1, just behind Hopkins’ state champion Logan Drevlow (27:59.3). Westanmo narrowly beat Mounds Park’s Eddie Snider by six-tenths of a second after a sprint to the finish. He also posted the third-best classic time at 14:11.7.
Avery Rich, a junior, finished ninth overall in the girls' pursuit with a time of 34:49.5. She was 2:30 behind the winner, Mounds View's Linnea Ousdigian. Rich moved up in the standings by delivering the seventh-best classic time of 16:54.6 after being in 10th place following the freestyle portion.
